I've been using them for about 4 months now and I still love them. It runs uninterrupted and has been running with no performance degradation since purchase. Setup is easy, but you'll need to buy your own pump. It comes with an air stone with a red LED in the center. To install, simply attach the air hose to the pump and then to the stone. Place the rock at the bottom of your aquarium and then place the volcano over it. The Volcano part looks good and doesn't feel cheap. I think it looks even better in person than in the picture in the product description. In addition, the bubble flow is very strong and is excellent for large aquariums. I bought a second one as a backup because I like it so much.
