The design structure of this hot/cold gel pack does allow for good fit on angular placement, like the shoulder, knee and elbow. It’s also quite usable on flat surfaces, like the back, abdomen or thighs. The gel pack has attractive visual appeal, while being a very credible hot and cold therapy, gel based pad. The pad is reasonably flexible, and the gel retains heat well, in my initial test.The size is appropriate for the shown applications. It can adequately cover the shoulder, and can completely envelop the elbow. The design allows it to conform to the knee, as well as rest comfortably on the neck/upper back area, giving good temperature therapy for the trapezoid and neck muscles.The outer surface appears to be a good quality material, and should prove durable. This is important for a product that is exposed to extreme temperatures.When I choose a gel pack, I only consider products that can offer hot and cold applications. Some gel packs are limited to perform as a cold compress. While that’s an important function, I prefer the gel pack to be versatile enough for hot and cold usage. Of course, this product falls into that category.I feel this gel pad satisfies expectations, and ably conveys temperature therapy. I like the overall design and composition of the product. Accordingly, it garners a 4.5+ star rating.
