Review on 🔧 Dorman 604-214 HVAC Blend Door Actuator: Ideal for Ford, Lincoln, and Mercury Models - Black by Chad Cypert

My Grand Marquis was 15 years old when I bought him. Bulletproof V8, full frame, roomy trunk, great handling, great value etc. No complaints. The only problem was with the heating. When I bought it it had two heat settings, 'Fry' and 'Off', due to a broken blender door actuator. Lots of YouTube videos explaining how to fix things for around $35. You have to spend some time and create some mods, but it fits and works perfectly. This applies to auto temperature models only - make sure you buy the right one. But "easy to install"? Forget it. There's less dashboard disassembly than some other cars, but it's a lot of work. But worth it! Of course, it's not the manufacturer's fault that it takes so long to get, change and fit the dashboard.
