Review on 💧 Watts Water Technologies 1 LFN45BM1-U 1-Inch, Lead-Free, Standard Capacity Water Pressure Reducing Valve by Brian Wersching

I have a well and a pumping station. The fountain pumps water into an equivalent 200 gallon (30-50 psi) pressure tank, which pumps through a Robertson valve (quite a larger version of what's in your toilet tank) into a 1,000 gallon storage tank. The holding tank is pressurized to 1 bar (14.7 psi) and allows diffused gas to be released from the well water so that only water is pumped into the home. Which petrol? I don't know, never mind. Chlorine injection: let's sleep at night. The water from the storage tank is unpressurized (maybe 2psi max) and is fed to the house via a Grundfos MQ3-45 booster pump. The booster pump should maintain the pressure between 45 and 65 psi, but no. The house was under 85 to 90 psi pressure: power to the toilet was cut; Fun, fun, fun until your dad gets the T-bird. Enter our hero: LFN45BM1-U 1 inch water pressure reducing valve. It's confusing, but it also has two 1" FPT threaded connectors on each end (MPT, FPT, and NPT are the same standard - M==male, F==female, N==either or both). I got mine Decided to turn the brass coupler into a really fancy Christmas decoration I don't have a photo of but it's really attractive Who said pumping isn't fun? Fittings that screw into the valve (large amounts of teflon tape; pull these really tight as the NPT standard is designed for that); and taped to the existing PVC between the pump and the house (e.g. tighten the outside of the PVC on the valve, tape the patch to the existing PVC). also had two 1" x 1/2" FPT threaded tees with brass 1/2" MPTs. x 1/4" FPT adapter, so I have a pressure gauge before the valve and after the valve for adjustment/for fun. See the adjustment guide that came with the valve, but basically this is this: Loosen the lock nut, top right, links- down Of course I could adjust the booster pump, but that's black magic and rarely practiced (existing internet sources speak of 'adjusting pressure', not 'which pressure' - low pressure, high pressure?) To install another booster pump I have I already have a watchdog timer to keep the toilets from exploding.
