Not as "bright" as a cheaper, less powered lightbar. However, it's much more focused and allows you to see what's in front of you in much greater detail. I bought another brand and it was much lighter. But the light was scattered everywhere. It has small focus circles, which I think allow you to see a lot more than others with less light output. Another brand would blind you if you stood in front of your car and looked at the light bar. But not this one. For example, it is safer if someone approaches you on the way. You will not blind them. But this one is very focused, especially in the middle, and you can also see far away. It can light up my whole block when it's totally dark. For the money and compared to others I've tested, this is the best value in my opinion. You don't need anything else. C works well for full size trucks. I have it on a Ford Ranger and it's perfect.
