I'm actually very happy with it. I'm usually so disappointed with the quality of animal products on Amazon in general. But these breeds are TOP-TEIR quality. These stones are exactly what I needed. Each individual stone is covered in soft but durable acrylic. AND NO SHARP EDGES! Most importantly, you don't want to harm your animals with anything you put in their habitat. I use them for my geckos Cleo and Evelyn. I had to replace my sandy substrate because they got a gulp of sand every time they started their live food.
