Review on πŸƒ Amphipod RunLite 8 oz. SnapFlask Module, 2 Pack: Optimize Your Hydration on the Run by Peter Alradwan

Added to my Spibelt

I have purchased a Spibelt in the past and have run to the point of needing extra hydration during my runs. This seemed like a good option as it can easily slip over my belt. One is enough for me for a 4 mile run, which is fine, and two would be enough for a longer run, but they get a bit heavy on my very elastic waistband. I've found that placing the tether just above the widest part of my hips (not at the waist as that's where it's very springy/slippery and moves a lot) helps. wearable (Nathan). although I'm considering switching to a vest with a minimal hydration pack (something like the Hydrapak E-Lite[.] vest). However, I like to wear it on my belt, also as a sip of water for my thirsty dog, who sometimes walks with me. Update 7/2013: I no longer use these amphipods. I still use my Spibelt to hold valuables (ID, card, cellphone) but the weight on my hips just bothered me a bit and sometimes bothered my swinging arms. It's not that bad, but getting rid of this little annoyance has helped me focus on running. I am currently wearing a minimal Nathan 028 vest with a 1.4L bladder insert. I highly recommend going to a sporting goods store (I love Sports Basement in San Francisco) or some other great place to try on a few packs to see how they fit you first. I love that Nathan doesn't jump on me and the 1.5L barrel is PERFECT for a warm half marathon and there are multiple pockets to store keys, gels etc.
