Review on Foscam FI8918W Wireless Camera Viewing by Justin Newport

Nice camera! When we go on vacation I have to leave my pets with babysitters at home, so I decided to bring a camera to monitor the foot traffic coming and going into our home. I bought 3 of these for our kitchen, living room and great room. I installed the program on my smartphone to be able to update camera information and they work great. I know there are other cameras out there that show a lot more detail or have fancier features, but for us these fit the bill. We have a good overview of who is in the house and if they interact with our dogs. I can turn/tilt side to side to make sure the water bowls are full and even peek in the backyard. We had a few times where the system didn't work or the channel wasn't available but that was our Wi-Fi connection because when it worked again the cameras were fine. It was a bit harder to see at night but we still have the picture. We fixed this problem by putting night lights in the rooms so they at least have some kind of light. Overall we love them and still use them often.
