The new dealer I started at had different 1/4" couplings than my old one. I found this universal coupling and didn't need any of them on my air tools.I put it on a 6ft flexzilla hose.I never move to another manhole but when needed I just made another with this adapter.To the style I had some will say why not just buy new male fittings. I have about 40 different air tools. At the store plus what I have at home they range from $2 to $7. Replacing all of them costs about $200. Also, many tools are going to electric switched, so why spend money on something I use less often now.
