I installed a SilverStone ECM24 in a classic Mac Pro for an NVME SSD. The installation went smoothly, but only because I found a helpful guide/review online. If you're new to this type of product, forget the "instructions" that came with it. One thing that a user can recognize is the choice of thermal pads to use. This depends on the thickness of your NVME SSD. I also used the standard bracket. I have to give one star for the extra screws. They also included a small screwdriver if you don't already have one. Good additions. while everything works. the most important part. It also has a heatsink, although I haven't run any tests to see how well it helps. Improve the instructions and you have a 5* product.
