I have used cartridge style disposable blades my entire life, on a whim I picked up this kit and will never use disposable blades again. It was the cleanest, smoothest shave I've ever had with no burning or irritation. I've paired this razor with King Gillette Shaving Gel and Clubman After Shave Lotion to take shaving from routine to tradition. I was wary at first, thinking it would be close to a close shave with a straight razor, but it was as easy as using a disposable razor with no scratches or cuts and lasted just as long. For a starter setup this was great quality, see myself delving deeper into a wet shave, have already bought several sets of replacement blades.
