after installing this bumper onto the 2011 Jeep Wrangler 4dr, noticed that we don't have clearance to close the tailgate. When you purchase this bumper make sure the spare tire is going to clear the top of the bumper or that the space tire carrier is out from the tailgate enough to close the trail gate. On my mod I will have to have a spare tire relocator to bring the tire (255 R75 17) out from the tailgate about 2" inches to be able to close the tailgate. The tire will fit into the dip on the bumper but from the OEM bumper to this one there is about and additional 2" inches of thickness just behind the tire on this bumper. If they would make the bumper thinner just behind the tire, across this section, it would be awesome. But because of the inconvenience of having to get a spacer, and the instructions not say anything about this , nor product detail. I have rated the bumper less.
