First, kudos to the author for keeping this to a reasonable length, unlike many authors today. I'm giving it 5 stars, qualified. The reason for the qualifier is about the pace. It may be true to reality, but I got annoyed at times with the fast pace, which I loved, then the excruciatingly slow pace, then fast, then slow and so on. Overall, I loved it but had to skim several times in dead zones. Double story lines at one time was another plus.
