Sturdy when attached properly
My husband installed it in our laundry room using molybdenum screws to attach to drywall. Therefore it is very durable and works well. I don't think it will do well with the pushing/pull force of hanging or removing the broom multiple times unless it's securely attached to a wall stud or molybdenum bolt.
