Seems to be a reliable product. Feels strong and well built. It was expensive in my opinion but I understand they have good customer service. If I encounter any issues I will edit this review with an update. The only problem I had is that the thermometer seems to be off by about 5-10 degrees compared to a digital thermometer. This, combined with the time lag where the temperature is not immediately recorded on the kettle's thermometer, makes it difficult to stop the kettle from heating at the right moment. So I learned the sound of a kettle almost boiling, and I know at what temperature to take it off the stove and turn my eye off. Then I just let it sit for a minute until the thermometer matches reality. I throw it back on the stove peephole and let it warm up a little while the peephole cools in case the thermometer reads lower than expected if I took it off, say, too soon. Compare with another thermometer and find out at what temperature you need to take this kettle off the heat, this thermometer is fine. I wish it was more accurate but not enough to deduct a star from the rating.
