This G1/2 internal thread is too narrow to replace an old rain shower head.
G1/2 is too small for those just thinking of replacing their old rain shower head. This might fit in their own extent pipe, but not mine. Luckily my old G1/2 shower head is identical to this unit and I can use the old fitting to complete the installation. But I like the design of the main unit and its cost.
