Do You Need a new fan motor for a 25 year old Broan 735-A The unit has a heater, extractor hood, 2 spotlights and a night light The shaft length on the old motor was 3.5" and 3000 rpm with forward rotation I was able to get the job done done by modifying the mounting bracket and matching the light reflector to the stack plates.The motor is quieter than the old one and has 3200rpm which has improved air movement.Pictured is the old motor, the bracket has been shortened and fitted between the housing and motor bracket a rubber washer was inserted to eliminate vibration, which worked very well.
