Comes vacuum packed. Simply open it carefully, shake it up and let it steep for a few hours. It will fill up if you give it a chance (some reviews disagree). It's the perfect size for my corner sofa and has greatly improved my viewing comfort! I have arthritis in my hands and I have to say that the roll pillow is difficult to close and take off. However, I like how it fits snugly into the wedge-shaped pad. The color is medium gray on one side and silver gray on the other depending on how the light hits the fabric. I think the product is good for the price and I can recommend it!
