I only gave 1 star because 0 stars is not possible. This item is probably one of the cheapest items of its kind I have ever seen. As you can see from the photos I've provided, there is a round brass nut pressed into either side of this unit to attach this thing to any surface you want using the included bracket. The problem is that after applying about 3 ft-lbs of torque to the included handles, the brass nut is free to rotate in the body. Of course, this makes it impossible to tighten the case. With this design flaw you naturally have a radio and body that will flap around with any movement or vibration of your car/boat. Aside from this defect, every other aspect of this device just screams cheap. I returned mine for a refund.
