This lock is not a good product, it WILL lock you in your van with no way out. just open for them. It's ironic that if you lift the lever to release the latch, if you pull it more than a quarter of an inch it releases two latches and still locks you in to release them, except outside without a key. It's like the burglar inside is trying to steal your stuff and then he's trying to escape quickly thinking he'll just pull the lever and snatch the lock and he's stuck inside until the police or maybe you come home anyway. You have a frustrated burglar! This is the only scenario this lock is suitable for! Don't waste your money or you will regret it! My husband was locked in the van with no heat and he was so mad about it he won't even go in until we have a new lock.
