This tool is awesome. I work on a fleet of Ford vans, mostly with modular engines. When a boot breaks, sometimes you just can't get at it with a right angle, 45 degree angle, hash mark, or any other type of pliers. That's when I use this thing and it works every time. My method used to be to spray a large amount of grease onto the spark plug tube and use a blowgun to push the boot out of the hole, but a few twists and turns with this tool and it will come out straight. Definitely something a mechanic should have in case the inevitable happens.
