They are very wide and a little longer than expected. My daughter is 8 years old. She is 49 inches tall and weighs 53 pounds and usually carries 8 or medium sized girls. They were huge on her. She's of a slim build, but honestly, they could have fit two in it, they were so wide! The material is comfortable and looks high quality, but I would reduce the size.
