Review on πŸ› Handled Bath Scrubber by Scotch-Brite by Barb Bosch

Revainrating 5 out of 5

UPDATED 5 years later: Comfortable grip, cleans very well

UPDATED August 2019: This scrubber has held up very well (weekly light use for FIVE years) but the cleaning part is worn out. For the price and value I am very impressed. I was looking for a replacement and was pleasantly surprised to find it still available, with an updated handle! At first glance, the updated handle (and the scrubber's hard cap) looks a little better than the old one and does a better job of keeping the cleaning solution off my hands. And it cleans just as well as the original. In the photo: worn original (blue) and current model after wearing it once (red). If the new version works as well as the old one, then it is highly recommended. Review to follow (June 2014):-------------------------------------------------------- ------- --------------------- ------------------ The shape of this bathroom scraper is familiar, but it's a big improvement over the generic ones I have previously bought at local craft stores. The handle is much more comfortable to hold (than the general purpose handles), I can squeeze without tiring one hand (medium sized male), and the textured cleaning material cleans *exceptionally* well. My hand didn't slip off the handle while scrubbing, and I didn't bang my knuckles on the top of the scrubber like I had with the previous scrubber. The scraper material itself is nice and cohesive (no signs of anything loosening or falling out), although only time will tell how well it holds up to repeated use. It doesn't seem too aggressive for my bathroom finish (there's a similar Scotch-Brite with a rougher pad), although over time I'll have to see if there are any minor scratches. This Scotch-Brite is a little more expensive than other scrubbers, but it's worth it. No complaints at all. Highly recommended.
