My first impression of this case was good.It came in a day before my iPhone 12 pro max so I checked it out - it’s super cute and I love that it’s clear because I got the blue phone and have never a blue phone before so I didn’t want to cover that up - and was excited to fill it with my new phone the next day.The iPhone 12 pro max is much thinner than I expected, I love it! Cases are known for adding bulk to a phone and I just love the thinness of the new phone so I almost didn’t want to put a case on it. However, I’m kind of clumsy and tend to drop my phone on concrete and other hard surfaces so I HAVE to have a case and screen protector. So I put the case on it.At first, I didn’t think it was on all the way cuz it was still so thin. When I realized it was fully on, I was really happy with the case. It raises enough off the screen to protect it from a face-down fall and has padded corners, so I was happy with the case.That is until I realized how far the cameralenses stick out from the case. There is no protection whatsoever for the camera lenses. This makes me nervous and I did take off one star for it; however, I’m going to keep the case for all the other reasons I listed. Hopefully the padded corners will absorb most of the fall impact and keep the lenses safe 🤞🏼The volume buttons are kinda hard to push with case on - IMO, this is mostly due to the very low profile of the new phone’s buttons. Oh, and it fits nice and snug on the phone ☺️
