These clamps were very easy to use. I used them on a strip of 8mm Wobane LED bulbs and some 18 gauge DC pigtails to install lights in my Detolf display case and they were quick, simple and easy to use. All I had to do was strip the ends of the red and black wires on the pigtails, insert them into the clearly marked locations on the correct end of the terminal, then close and snap the latch on the end of the wire and they were locked in place. Then all I had to do was line them up with the LED strip and insert from the other side so the strip went under the two tiny sidebars to keep everything flat and under the two connector clips inside and then snap the whole thing in place and voila ! It worked every time. Never had to disassemble anything to redo it. I will say that it's a bit easier to insert the end of the strip if you leave some backing paper on the adhesive part of the LED strip, right at the end where you want to insert it. Don't catch the clip and get angry. But even though I peeled the paper off of all my LED strip pieces, I had a little trouble pushing ONE end out of nearly a dozen. I installed my LED strips on a V shaped aluminum track to hide the strips and these tracks came with end clamps to keep the wires stable and in place so I'll say it when setting up helped a lot. However, the clips made it so easy and quick to create a custom lighting setup for my Detolf. No soldering, no wrestling with wires, etc. Simply cut, assemble, clip in and you're done.
