I ordered the shorter one (66") and loved how easy it was to set up, but when I got to my first drawing lesson I found I couldn't reach the canvas eye level! The easel was too short. I sent it back (which really wasn't a problem, thank goodness!) and ordered the larger version, 72". This model is quite tall and I used it for painting. As a portable device, it's amazing. or sturdy like my wooden easel, but then I can't fold it up and carry it around in my paint bag. So both serve their purpose and when I needed to let one canvas dry and start another, the portable one has come in very handy in my own studio proven to let the canvas dry where I can look at it and decide what to do!
