For my tool kit I decided to use a couple of universal sockets to work with most size nuts and bolts I come across. I already had a 7-19mm universal socket (small) and bought the 11-32mm (large) first because I thought it would fit all sizes. However, I underestimated how large a large one would be and found that it would be overkill for my needs and would not serve the purpose of my takeaway set. So I changed it to size 9-27mm (medium). I took some size comparison photos so others can make an informed decision. This kit has everything you need to use the socket by hand or with a drill, so that's great. As shown in the picture, universal sockets are made up of small round pins that fit into and grip the nut. They are spring loaded and the pins can only go about a third of the depth of the socket. That could limit the use cases. Also, the medium socket pins are noticeably looser than the other two. I think the small (different brand) had the stiffest springs, but the large (same brand as the middle one) was pretty stiff too. I don't think it will affect performance as the socket works when rotated, but I've noticed it.
