These boots are amazing. As a soldier for the past 9 years these are definitely the grippiest boots I've worn (vs J Boots, Magnums, Meindls and Lowas). Tried to break these boots two days after receiving them with a 35kg 15km backpack Don't lose traction when climbing and descending steep hills or mud. I only stated once that I was actively trying to lose her. They are very comfortable and fit as expected with no hot spots. They got me using my calves and ankles more, but I've found them to support my calves more than my last boot. I would recommend these boots to anyone and will definitely be purchasing another pair in the future. Try to update this review in a month and check its durability.
