Took a few tries but found the right size. This is of great importance.

I ordered the first set on the tight side as recommended in the manufacturer's description but was barely able to fit my chairs even following the instructions and installation tips; I measured again to make sure I got the right size and promptly returned the first batch before destroying any product. Moved up a size, they're still snug, but not snug enough to make me feel like I'm putting castration bandages on the legs of a chair (former farm girl, don't ask). Time will tell if they hold up, but as long as I like them I'm not worried about the sticky pad slipping off.
