High quality and modern 3 inch lamp. I received 12 of these lights for a 40ft RV renovation. The wire connections in the aluminum junction box (included) push the plugs making it very easy. The two knockout holes come out easily and you'll need to make the holes for the connectors before threading the wires into the box. The box has a clasp that opens and closes. To drill you will need a 3 inch hole saw for your hole. The lamp portion is slightly smaller and a 3 inch hole is sufficient to pierce a spring loaded lamp. Larger than 3 inches light border that completely covers the opening. Also, the 3 inch hole is big enough to fit the box through the hole above the ceiling and access it the same way. Make sure your cables are at least 8 inches below the ceiling for easy hookup.
