Contractor installed 8 of these in our kitchen. Five failed quickly, in 6 months. When I ordered a replacement, the manufacturer changed the design of the mount so the replacement could not be used without replacing the junction box. I had to hire an electrician and this thing cost me $800 to replace lightbulbs that don't last very long.

These lights are inexpensive and work incredibly well. You look expensive and we will. They work in tight spaces and work well alongside insulation. Because of the size you will need an adjustable solid saw as they are not the size you need in a fixed size. Several power supplies failed but they sent replacements for free! Attention, they flicker every now and then, but that never bothered me.

These bulbs were great at first, but then they started to burn out. We contacted the company and Revain. They sent us new lights. Every light bulb has burned out at least once. We bought one pack or 12 but only used 8 (4 were meant to be spares). We used all 12, replaced some more than once and now we have 3 bulbs again! Here are pictures and even a video of a pre-burnout flicker. Now I'm wondering who to contact.

I love these lights. Unfortunately not the electrician. He informed me that the junction box was only big enough for a 14/2 Romex connection, so each light had to be wired separately, not in series. This leads to a lot more wiring and possibly a junction box on the wall near the ceiling. The company said it was the first time they had heard of the problem, but I looked at the NEC code and the inspector was right. If you do not pull permission, this is not a problem.

I wasn't sure if there would be enough light at just 4 inches, but so far I'm very impressed. To install. Very convenient 3-pin push-lock connectors in each junction box, making it easy to run the row to the next lamp. The junction box is very thin, but once installed you'll never have to fiddle with it. I plan to run it through the Smart's dimmer switch and let Alexa take control.

High quality and modern 3 inch lamp. I received 12 of these lights for a 40ft RV renovation. The wire connections in the aluminum junction box (included) push the plugs making it very easy. The two knockout holes come out easily and you'll need to make the holes for the connectors before threading the wires into the box. The box has a clasp that opens and closes. I wanted to choose another brand because of the ability to switch between different KV colors on the dial, but the fact that the switch is in the junction box doesn't make it practical for me. Install it and forget it, but if one day you change your mind, you'll have to pull out the light and reach for the box. I'm sure there is a light that lets you change the mood by remote control, but that's a luxury I won't pay for. So for the same price I got a tried and tested pancake light with 2 watts…
