I wanted to choose another brand because of the ability to switch between different KV colors on the dial, but the fact that the switch is in the junction box doesn't make it practical for me. Install it and forget it, but if one day you change your mind, you'll have to pull out the light and reach for the box. I'm sure there is a light that lets you change the mood by remote control, but that's a luxury I won't pay for. So for the same price I got a tried and tested pancake light with 2 watts more brightness, which allows me to space them further apart and still get amazing brightness. What surprised me is that they get pretty hot. I assumed the lack of fins, like some LED bulbs, meant the heat wouldn't dissipate as quickly. IDK if pricier brands have improved efficiency with less heat dissipation but great value for the price.
