In fact, they do not perform any sealing whatsoever. See Video

As someone who has used dynamite and its equivalents on several of my homebuilt cars in the past, I was really hoping that this would be an easy way out, but it wasn't. Please watch the video. The back does not close the gap between the door and the door frame. Without installing the whole kit, I suspect people noticing the reduction in wind noise is solely due to the A-pillar seal. You don't have to pay $40 for a bunch of gaskets that don't do much. Add unnecessary water containers that give more reason for the door to freeze in winter. If you want, you can buy regular door seals, but before that, really study the design of the available seals, and in any case, buying them is easy. The sound you hear comes from the metal acting as a resonator, for which you really need a sound deadening material. These are absolutely not worth it. It looks like the manufacturer didn't actually test it, but instead relied on the customer's need to personalize their vehicle. Please be careful before you invest the time and money to install anything on your beautiful new car. Other problems - no proper instructions. Left-right is misleading.
