The approach is what I expected - practical based on real experience. The examples are easy to understand and accurate. If you are interested in penetration testing and know how to code, this book is for you. If you've never programmed before, you might have trouble with some of the examples - not because they're difficult to understand, they're just a lot easier once you have some programming experience. I recommend it to anyone interested in this topic. BTW - I bought the Kindle version, then I bought the book - it's easier for me (I'm an old man) to follow than from the screen.
