I had problems with my PC (8-4.7 GHz, 32 GB RAM, 8 GB GPU and 3 SSD) Been too hot (65°C) for 18 months. . I've tried installing five regular fans, a new liquid cooler and even a desktop fan directly on it, but nothing special. I couldn't play an intense game with overheating. I turned one of these on, and while it's noticeably louder, I don't go above 54c, even with The Witcher 3 running at ultra resolution and Netflix playing on a different screen. I ran Prime95 and Furmark simultaneously and only got 62c on the machine (with 100% CPU, GPU, Disk I/O and RAM usage). This fan replaced 4 out of 5 fans on my PC and uses less power than 2 of them. Be prepared for long screws as they are slightly thicker than standard fans.
