The best fan for Synology

I "installed" this fan on my Synology DVA3219. This fan meets its specifications, including a noise level of almost 60 dB. it also draws about 2 amps at 12 volts, which is way too much for a Synology motherboard. It's also quite thicker than most 120mm fans. As a result, I have a fan connected to an external power supply that runs at 7.5 volts, with the fan still moving at around 100 cfm, but that's pretty consistent with the fact that I don't use it outside of my server room can hear . .power…

Pros
  • Handsfree
Cons
  • Not everything fits

Buy it! Computers and Accessories

So I bought two of these fans to replace my 2x 50cfm Coolmaster fans to water cool my CPU. The single fan is about 70-80% thicker than a typical 120mm fan, so it's not ideal for smaller cases unless you're sure you have the space. You should also purchase a powerful fan controller rated at at least 36W per channel. You can probably use a 30W fan controller and you'll be fine as long as you don't run that fan at 100% power. So after installing the bad guys I couldn't believe it, literally in awe

Loud like an electric fan but moves the same amount of air

Loud like an electric fan but moves the same amount of air. This thing actually has some traction! A bit pricey for a case fan, but if you need a lot of heat this is a great upgrade. Find a data center where you don't have to listen to him. Do not carry it out anywhere in the house, even from the basement the woman will complain.

  • Pleasant
Cons
  • Loudness

If the computer is in another room or in a machine shop, great.

Fans are no joke. I believe that these fans are responsible for the terrible hurricanes that we have experienced in recent years. when the problem is global warming. Put that thing outside. the task is solved. They are of amazing quality. easy to install. BUT so loud that you can't be in the same room as the computer. Pros: Amazing cfm CONS: It's like flying on an airplane with the windows down.

Pros
  • Suitable for many
Cons
  • Very expensive

Incredible amount of air!

I'll start off by saying these things are extremely loud, but I expected them not to care. I wanted a mega air outlet regardless of the background noise. So if they bother the noise, look elsewhere. The air created by these things is amazing! Loud to do that, but, god, these things move the air! They will move so much air through whatever components they target so quickly! Noise: 0/10 Airflow: 100/10 I will definitely buy more!

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • Low maintainability

200cfm - MUCH better internals

I had to buy a speed controller, it produces the same amount of air as a bathroom exhaust fan or range hood. Too loud. I used it in place of two dedicated CPU and GPU fans and it dropped temperatures from 120F to 75F at full speed. I need to work at 1/4 or 1/3 speed. A NOTICE. 12 volts are not disconnected from the motherboard in most cases.

Pros
  • Good thing
Cons
  • The list goes on.

LOTS OF AIR! LOVE IT!

VERY IMPRESSIVE! I've seen shop fans not blowing air that much. I thought I had to strap on my computer, if it had wings I definitely would! Okay, seriously, this thing makes LOTS of air AND LOTS of noise. They go hand in hand as we all know or should know. The main problem with this is that it doesn't work below 48% power, so more than 2000 rpm! So yes, you will hear it! Anything lower just won't make it spin. If you want to avoid noise as much as possible, you can end up with a fairly…

Never worry about your PC overheating again

I had problems with my PC (8-4.7 GHz, 32 GB RAM, 8 GB GPU and 3 SSD) Been too hot (65°C) for 18 months. . I've tried installing five regular fans, a new liquid cooler and even a desktop fan directly on it, but nothing special. I couldn't play an intense game with overheating. I turned one of these on, and while it's noticeably louder, I don't go above 54c, even with The Witcher 3 running at ultra resolution and Netflix playing on a different screen. I ran Prime95 and Furmark simultaneously and…

They contain metal protection for a reason! :-)

If you expect maximum airflow from a 120mm fan, this is for you. I first bought a Noctua fan and it was very quiet but didn't move much air. This one is only noisy because of the air movement. And if you want to move a lot of air, then this fan is your choice. However, take my advice and use a metal fan grill even if you think you don't need it. I just did a quick test and it didn't even get to full speed. It blew off a bulky 3D printed part I was testing with it and when I tried to grab the…
