If you expect maximum airflow from a 120mm fan, this is for you. I first bought a Noctua fan and it was very quiet but didn't move much air. This one is only noisy because of the air movement. And if you want to move a lot of air, then this fan is your choice. However, take my advice and use a metal fan grill even if you think you don't need it. I just did a quick test and it didn't even get to full speed. It blew off a bulky 3D printed part I was testing with it and when I tried to grab the part before it blew away my finger only grazed part of the fan and I had to run to the box of patches :-). My wife still laughs at me. It moves more air than you need, so consider getting a speed controller as well. You have been warned :-).
