Bought for two purposes. 1. Video lighting 2. Event lighting. I wanted to have both features in one package. According to my research, the brightness is average in this price range. However, when I tested it, I was very pleased with its performance in illuminating the area at night. I received a set of 2 lamps without a stand because I wanted taller stands which are not included. My only concern was mixing the two color LEDs for maximum brightness. But now that I've tried both color temperatures at the same time, I find they look more natural mixed. As a video light I wasn't overly concerned because my A7iii has amazing low light performance. But for reporting events, it serves a secondary purpose. Build quality is decent, if nothing special. I'm sure it's better than most cheaper video lights. Niver works fine. The only improvement is the L-shaped connector of the power supply. Once this light is installed at 7 feet it would be nice if the power supply cord didn't bend while hanging down. The competitors only have more brightness (which is probably not necessary) and remote controls suitable for events.
