Tried this product for the first time today. Very happy with the overall result. I've seen several negative reviews mentioning that this soap doesn't lather as well as other soaps. Well, if you use the right method, as shown in the videos on the internet, it lathers up great. I melted the soap puck (gently) in a classic Old Spice shaving mug with warm water using a saucepan technique. Then, after letting the soap cool for at least 48 hours, I continued shaving. It is important to "soak" the puck in hot water for a few minutes before attempting to foam it. I left a few drops of water in the shaving mug and started scooping the soap onto the wet brush. Stir for at least 30-60 seconds to get enough soap on the brush. Then take a separate shaving bowl (not a mug) and vigorously swirl the brush in a circular motion until you get the desired lather amount and texture. Think about the consistency of "Kool Whip". If it's too dry, gradually add a few drops of warm water - not too much or the foam will thin. Add a razor and a blade and you're done. 😁
