The perfect assortment of black drywall screws with large threads

I like the variety of sizes, especially the very short ones. These are difficult to find locally. However, they are useful for many common applications, e.g. B. for screwing a shelf support to the underside of the shelf. Long screws are clearly not suitable for this. This set contains 65 3/4" pieces, which is good. That's more than what you usually get with these assortment kits. But unfortunately none of the shorter 1/2" sizes. They are basically regular #7 black drywall screws, but come in a variety of lengths, ranging from 3/4" to 2.5". With such a limited supply of each size, this kit is obviously intended for the DIY market, not the true drywall installer. They have rough carvings and a cruciform head. They bite into any wood quickly and hold very securely. I use them for all kinds of woodworking projects and DIY applications. In the photos I used them to attach the head holders to a 3/4" piece of plywood. The 3/4" length was perfect for this. These are really useful general purpose screws to have on hand in any home or business. The screws appear to be well made. They are uniform and strong enough. I didn't notice any flaws. The organizer case is very typical of these assortment sets. Parts stay in place quite well and don't jump between compartments. But things are a little tricky. The locks are adequate but not as secure as some I've seen. Kits like this are convenient and economical for DIY enthusiasts. The issue price is about one nickel per screw. That's more than what you would pay in a big store for a large quantity of one size. But it saves you a few trips to the big store by buying smaller quantities when you can even find short sizes. So it's still great value for money and worth having on hand when you need it. I bought it mainly for short lengths that can't be found anywhere else.

Pros
  • DURABLE AND IMPROVED RUST PROTECTION
Cons
  • Big and bulky
