Bad Faucet Faucet in Tools and Equipment

The faucet in this kit is useless. I wasted 3 cans of R134a on this faucet. The first bench worked fine. On the second it started leaking and I noticed a gap in the gasket so I replaced the gasket with the one that came with the kit. The 3rd and 4th cans leaked no matter how tight or loose I fastened them. The seal looked ok. Once you've punched a hole in the bank, there's no turning back. You cannot prevent the refrigerant from escaping into this atmosphere. If you have one of these kits replace the faucet with one that screws onto the can, it's not as spirited as the one that comes with the kit.
