I wanted to love it. I love it but it won't last. I was so excited to get this and it's so very soft, it's light but not too much. The color is beautiful, definitely a blush. I haven't washed it yet as I just received it today. Because of the weight and softness, I'm afraid to wash it, water can make it heavy in my large capacity machine. I put it in the dryer (dry) on low/no heat to "toss" and fluff it up a bit before putting it on the bed to check the size on my king bed. The sad part. It had been in the dryer for about 15 minutes when it came out and I put it on my bed it was fine then I noticed. "crispy" spots as if plastic melted inside. I pulled on it a little and tried to scratch it with my nails, it helped a little but now I'm afraid to wash it let alone dry it. It's a blanket, you should be able to wash it, unfortunately it's $80 down the drain and again look for a reddish blanket. Aside from the fact that it's very likely to shrink like a shrink stick, it's nice.
