Review on Korky 2011BP Hinge Flapper for Kohler Toilet Repairs 🚽 - Made in USA, Replaces Kohler Parts 84995 and 1000490 by Ashton Dahmer

I bought this instead of the Kohler brand because it has a hard plastic on the back and I was a little nervous it wouldn't fit. This one looks exactly like the ugly messed up one I replaced so I went with it. In the beginning it worked great. Easy to install and the leak we had is gone. However, within a week it started leaking intermittently. I've adjusted a few times and it seems to be getting better, although the occasional leaks haven't completely gone and it's been a few months. I've never experienced this with a brand new shock and have had Corky before so I'm disappointed. Everything seems to fit in, everything is in its place and I don't have to set anything up. Not sure why it's still leaking, but I'll definitely be buying Kohler next time. Nothing bad if it weren't for the terrible drought and every drop of water is worth its weight in gold!
