Review on All Clad Gourmet WD822D51 Waffle Silver by Bill Pulakanam

The product has not convinced me for a long time. In search of a replacement for my defunct Belgian waffle maker I read all the reviews of several genuine Belgian waffle makers. When I stumbled upon this one, the many negative reviews made me think twice before ordering. After receiving and making waffles with it, I'm really impressed. The overflow bowl worked perfectly. Does not spill and is easy to clean. My old car wasn't that easy to keep clean. When the waffle batter was fully cooked and you opened the machine, the waffles popped open with the lid and separated with your fingertips. There is no need to use some Teflon or silicone to remove them. After reading that many people have had trouble removing waffles, I think the problem may be with the batter recipe they are using. I need 6 tbsp. melted butter. For me it makes a huge difference in removing waffles. Having just received it I can't comment on how long the machine will last but as it works so well I have high hopes for this machine.
