All Clad Gourmet WD822D51 Waffle Silver Review

When we first got it it was fantastic. The waffles were always perfectly cooked. However, in recent months it has become nothing more than a huge waste of space on our kitchen counter. For some reason it no longer maintains a constant temperature, so one waffle is perfect and the next a congealed mush. There's nothing I don't like about this waffle maker. I'm really pissed that over the years I've thought about buying it and spent over $150 on cheap waffle makers despite the fact that I've been able to enjoy delicious, amazing waffles the whole time. This device is nice and well built, but perhaps the most important part of this type of device - the temperature control - is terrible. I'm picky about waffles and want a fluffy interior surrounded by a crispy golden brown exterior. The recipes I use cook this way at 350-360 F in about 4 minutes.
