When I went to buy, I was hesitant because of the reviews. It was a little frustrating to order but if I can help people with my experience I will say it fits my Dyson V6 perfectly, the exact same attachment that came with my vacuum when I bought it new. Maybe they should drop DC59 from the name. I've been desperately trying to clean my old one, it broke completely except for the part of the rotor that can't be removed. If you could remove it, I wouldn't have to buy a new one. So I'm very happy that I was able to replace him. I love my Dyson V6 cordless stick vacuum.
