Review on 🌧️ RINKMO 296 PPD Commercial Dehumidifier: Heavy Duty Industrial Water Damage Restoration with Large Water Reservoir & Garden Hose by Kevin Henry

I had four smaller dehumidifiers running in a 3000 foot garage. I decided a commercial unit would be more efficient. As soon as I plugged it in, I knew I was in trouble. The other four devices that were set at 55% relative humidity actually showed 55%, as did the humidity meter I had. It makes sense because they worked. That thought suggested the humidity was 39%, so it just lay there like a lump of coal. To see if this would work I lowered the setting to 35%. It turned on, showed after two minutes that the humidity in the 300-foot room had dropped to 35%, and turned off. Two minutes later it showed 39% again and turned on again. So it turns off and on again every two minutes. And the kicker is that he doesn't do anything. Not a drop of water. This is the first or second review I've ever written and this thing really deserves it. A complete garbage. The packaging more or less falls apart when opened, so that a return is not possible. If anyone has experience returning something bulky to Revain without packaging I would appreciate advice. Update: I posted the above a few weeks ago and gave the device one star. The factory emailed me a few days ago and offered to refund my money or send me a new unit. I chose the second block. They sent me videos and written instructions on how to reprogram the device to fix the problem. They asked me to try it before sending me a new one and if it doesn't work they will replace it. It wasn't a difficult task. I completed the process and it seems to be working, so I'm very happy. I deducted a star as all of these units purchased from Revain are shipped separately. The packaging is inadequate. My device arrived dented. I could live with it since it's in my garage. Only a few hours have passed since the reprogramming. If it keeps working I can return that star. My compliments to the factory for addressing a dissatisfied customer.
