I was able to install this mirror on my 2010 Toyota Corolla in about 20 minutes. The piece of plastic on the back of the mirror is coming off, so I used Dupli-Color (EBTY16197-6 PK) Magnetic Gray Metallic Toyota Exact-Match Automotive Paint - 8 oz. Spray can. I probably applied 4 or 5 coats. Then I applied several layers of clear coat ("Dupli-Color EBCL01257 Clear Perfect Match Automotive Top Coat - 8 oz. Aerosol"). Also, I searched on YouTube and came across a video on how to install the side mirror "easy". Most videos suggest removing the entire inner door panel to access the wires connected to this mirror and removing the cover from the three screws holding the mirror in place. A YouTube video instructing you to pull out the top of the inner door panel. You can then remove the cover to access the screws and the internal wiring of the mirror. One suggestion: wear latex gloves or something. There is grease or glue in the door that will get your hands dirty if you don't. Excellent purchase!
