Review on πŸ“Ί Sleek 43" Samsung UE43TU7002U 2020 LED TV: Enhanced HDR, Stunning Black Design by Vinay Sornsri ᠌

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Quite good, but I expected more from it.

Image quality is good. You can't remove apps from the screen on a smart TV. Their removal is simply blocked. Also, the advertising area on the start screen of the smart. From my point of view, the policy is incorrect. This is a device purchased with money and advertising is unacceptable. Inconvenient location of the buttons on the remote - the E-manual and Exit buttons are located next to the control arrows and constantly fall under the finger. Of the real pluses - you can watch movies directly from the built-in browser. At the same time, a third of the search results are hidden or viewing is automatically stopped (apparently this applies to unlicensed content). The warranty is only 1 year, which is strange for such a vendor. Internet speed on TV is good (hooked on a router with 5ghz) and all exchange is fast. Applications are a little slow. The smart menu cannot be said to be complicated, but I, as a person who constantly works with different programs, could not quickly enter. Killed all the settings for a couple of hours. After the ate, the settings were removed. If you take the older generation, then it is better with an external set-top box or an antenna input from the provider, because with such a smart it will be difficult for them. When mounted on a wall, it is difficult to get to the connection panel - it is located in the depths (I had to bring out external cords for USB and HDMI), but this is not critical. About half of the films are not readable by the built-in player (there are no codecs), while my old TV (not even smart) of 2022 reads everything perfectly. With the above, the feasibility of smart TV is questionable. Perhaps it made sense to buy a simpler TV and a TV set-top box on Android (at least there you can choose a built-in processor and there are no problems with codecs). I didn’t find any intelligible information about the declared 100 Hz for the image - everywhere there is information about the fact that everything looks like 100 Hz and even better. This information was a priority when choosing a TV. In general, not bad, but the impressions are mixed.

Pros
  • Image quality
Cons
  • Built-in advertising in smart TV, inconvenient location of remote control buttons
