Need lots of extra spikes.

These works great to prevent falls on icy surfaces. However, the spikes are easily breakable. I literally have used the crampons two times to walk down a long ice covered driveway to pick up mail. Already, one of the spikes was broken and needed to be replaced. The crampons came with 4 extra spikes but I doubt that will be enough.

Pros

Love the cleats. Slip onto my boots and shoes easily. They do the job of preventing falls on ice!

Cons

One snapped in half after only a few uses. Made out of very thin rubber!
